Cullen Scholarships

Each year, Cullen Scholarships are awarded to contribution-oriented students who possess integrity, honesty, perseverance and initiative and who care about their fellow students, teachers, community and industry.

Bob and Ruby Allen Scholarship

This award was created to recognize a deserving mature Horticultural Technician (441c) apprentice attending in-class training at Fanshawe College.

  • Candidates may be nominated by their instructor, trainer or apprenticeship sponsor.

Deadline Extended:
July 31st, 2025

Instructions:

  • When nominating a student, program coordinators are required to provide the candidate’s contact information including their address, email and telephone number. This information is used solely for award distribution.

  • To pause your nomination form, click SAVE on the bottom of the form. You may also edit your submitted nomination using the link in your confirmation email.

Tony DiGiovanni Scholarship

Awarded to the nominee who best exhibits qualities that build trust in the profession of horticulture. Available to full-time students in an approved program nominated by their program coordinator.

  • Most recent transcripts must accompany the nomination.

  • Supporting reference letters from fellow students and/or employers are appreciated.

Russell and Karen Loney Scholarship

Available to a full-time student entering their final year of the Landscape Technician (01521) program at Humber College who has an interest in pursuing property maintenance.

  • Candidates may be nominated by the program coordinator.

  • Most recent transcripts must accompany the nomination.
